2012 Halifax Business Award Winners

 

The Halifax Marriott Harbourfront was the place to be Thursday, January 26th, 2012 for local businesses as the Halifax Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the 2012 Halifax Business Awards and celebrated the 12th anniversary of the Awards gala, presented by RBC.

 “Our 2012 finalists have very different businesses, come from different backgrounds, and industries. But despite all their differences, there is one thing they do have in common – confidence. Confidence in their ideas, confidence in their businesses, and confidence to take chances - even when the risks are high and the future is unclear,”adds Payn.

The Halifax Business Awards are intended to recognize those businesses and business people in Halifax who exemplify the best that our city has to offer: innovators, who are willing to take chances, push the boundaries and stretch the limits for success. The annual event, now in its twelfth year, featured Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in five categories: New Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, International Business of the Year, Business of the Year and Business Person of the Year.
