Strategic Priorities
The Halifax Chamber of Commerce conducts all operations under the guidance of its strategic plan. Every three to five years, a comprehensive strategic planning process is undertaken to ensure that members’ views are reflected in all aspects of Chamber operations.
In May 2011, the Board of Directors approved the following five new priority areas:
- Helping small business take advantage of our economic strategies; and
- Making Halifax more competitive
Working under both of these priority areas we will be better able to focus on initiatives that will directly help member businesses grow, move into new markets, and attract and retain talent - all helping create a city that is vibrant, competitive. and open for business.
