Talent Management Portal - Employement Branding
When we thinking of branding they often think about branding of products, like Coca-Cola or services, like your insurance provider, but we seldom think about the brand that an employer is putting out there to employees, and potential employees. Employer branding may be the least known type of branding yet is becoming increasingly important to organizatiosn as we see growing changes to the workforce and our demographics - with baby boomers poised for retirement, and not enough new, young labour to fill the gap, employers will need to become more competitive to get the talent they want, and creating a strong Employer Brand can be one of the best weapons for fighting the talent war.
The Employer Brand Institute defines employer branding as “the image of the organization as a ‘great place to work’ in the minds of current employees and key stakeholders in the external market (active and passive candidates, clients, customers and other key stakeholders).”
