The Organizer
They say elephants never forget, so I guess that makes me the office elephant? – Wait that didn't sound right... As the planner and organizer of numerous Chamber networking events, involving many different organizations and logistics, my work requires me to use my memory and eye for detail to coordinate all the details and ensure everything is on track. No detail is too small and it is up to me to make sure that nothing is missed. Members are often surprised how with so many details for each event everything stays in order. My secret to success? Committing myself to the event and ensuring that our members get the most out of their membership.

In her role as Member Services Event Coordinator Tania is responsible for the planning, promotion and execution of all Member Services Events. These include the 7:15 Club, Networking @ Noon, Commerce Connections, Business After Hours, Member-to-Member, Continuing Education and Chamber Golf. She also supports the sales team and Chamber members.
Besides her duties with the Chamber, Tania owns and operates an interior decorating business dealing with both residential and commercial clients. She also can be found working part time as a bartender at the Halifax Metro Centre.
Tania holds an Interior Decorating Diploma from the Career Academy of Canada, as well as a Hospitality Diploma from NSCC Lunenburg Campus.
